Answers. If you have tried to reinstall the touchpad drivers then you can try to press the Fn+F7 button together in your keyboard to check if that makes any difference with the touchpad. Hope it will help you in some way. @ragsak28 tried it. No help.

From bios version 1.11 or 1.13, settings for touchpad basic/advanced mode in bios is missing/hiden. Touchpad is Sinaptics. Driver from Acer is not working right now. Go to BIOS screen and move to Main tab, press Ctrl+S buttons together and see whether the Touchpad option appears. igP2.
